[net.misc] Carrying ID in Las Vegas

riddle@ut-sally.UUCP (Prentiss Riddle) (01/16/84)

As far as I know, it's still required to carry an ID in Houston. Anyone
know for sure?

Being required to identify yourself on the public ways on Las Vegas
would probably not stand up in court.

A law like this was on the books in California until someone decided
he had the time to fight it, and won.

Fighting a law in California is not as foolish as fighting one in
Las Vegas - in California they don't break your arms when you
disagree with "them".
