Not "John Doe" ________________________________________________________________ Someone, not "John Doe", asked me "Why?", by private email. The number one reason is that the prophesies for how the world would change following the coming of the Messiah have not been borne out, according to Jewish belief. Christians will say that he came only for a short visit and that he will return later as the real ( i.e., as predicted in the Jewish tradition ) Messiah later. This can get quickly involved. I do not want to get into a no-win debate over this subject. I also do not want to see this subject debated in net.religion.jewish. Feel free to believe as you like. I'm not proseletizing for Judaism. Its not our style. Shalom ( Peace ), David Seth Green {ihnp4}!mhuxi!dsg 201-564-4468 P. S. If you *are* Jewish, and are seriously questioning, I will try to point you in the right direction, privately.
