There always seems to be a few who participate in this kind of forum more than others and this is human nature. On the other hand, the suggestion was made that I pretend to be a spokesman for the jewish net or for jews in general. Certainly I am not and don't wish to be perceived as a pretender of such. I would like to urge a much wider participation among Jewish readers. Baruch, Joaqim, Dave et al write some interesting stuff, but I am also interested in the many often unspoken opinions of fellow Jews. If you don't feel comfortable writing, perhaps you could simply write something like "Opinion:Right on!"/ "Opinion:Not convinced!", "Opinion:I agree/disagree" or "Opinion: _______'s article seemed more convincing to me". Since you are entitled to an opinion with no need to justify it at all, no one could flame you very well (unless, of course, your opinion was a flame). Perhaps there might even be an unwritten understanding that such should not be challenged? Assertions and opinions are, after all, quite different notions.
