[net.religion.jewish] plea for wider participation

There always seems to be a few who participate in this kind of forum
more than others and this is human nature. On the other hand, the
suggestion was made that I pretend to be a spokesman for the jewish net
or for jews in general. Certainly I am not and don't wish to be
perceived as a pretender of such. I would like to urge a much wider
participation among Jewish readers. Baruch, Joaqim, Dave et al write
some interesting stuff, but I am also interested in the many often
unspoken opinions of fellow Jews. If you don't feel comfortable writing,
perhaps you could simply write something like "Opinion:Right on!"/
"Opinion:Not convinced!", "Opinion:I agree/disagree" or "Opinion:
_______'s article seemed more convincing to me". Since you are entitled
to an opinion with no need to justify it at all, no one could flame you
very well (unless, of course, your opinion was a flame). Perhaps there
might even be an unwritten understanding that such should not be
challenged? Assertions and opinions are, after all, quite different
notions.
