If you are planning on taking a vacation this winter, but you're either tired of the Miami scene, have nobody to go with, or are looking for something new and exciting to do, read on. I am trying to organize a 1-week 'getaway' to Acapulco, Mexico. We will be flying down on Sunday, January 13, and staying for 8 days and 7 nights at the Copacabana Hotel, where we will be provided with Glatt kosher meals twice daily, and three times on Shabbat. (There is a synagogue on the premises.) This is NOT an organized tour in the sense that you are bound to some scheduled program. Once you get there, you are free to water ski, parasail, bask in the sun, or stick your head in the sand, for all I care. I suspect, however, that like it or not, you will meet some very nice intelligent young professionals like yourself. FYI, the people I've asked to join us are mostly orthodox, but we are certainly equal opportunity vacationers and all are welcome. It IS an organized tour in that the size of the discount we get is directly proportional to the size of the group. It is for this reason that we would like to have everyone book through the same organization, and guess who's been elected to do the paper work. In any case, time is of the essence. Again, the vital statistics are as follows: Date: Jan. 13-20 Airfare(NY-Acap.-NY) $340.00 Hotel: $549.00 and up (add 18% for tips and taxes) Subtract whatever discount we manage to get. Yes, it's hefty, but don't forget - all meals are included and are 100% glatt kosher. Please send me mail or call me if you're interested - ASAP!!!! Naomi Davis
