I met a man in his 50's the other day whose is terminally ill. He has
a problem that originated in his spinal column and is now spreading
up the column and will eventually effect his whole nervous system and
brain. Doctors have indicated that he has a year to live. Currently
he lives in the US. His wife (non-jewish, his emphasis, not mine) and
daughter have given him up for dead, for all practical purposes. Upon
recommendation from friends and professionals, he has begun to look for
a better living environment. He wants to go to Israel. He has enough
money to travel there and pay for room and board in a small apartment.
He is looking for someone/someplace where he can get some domestic help
since he will be imobolized in a few weeks/months. If anyone has any
ideas or suggestions, please send me a note so we can begin to arrange
something as soon as possible. Thank you.
