Today's "Family Circus" cartoon shows the little kid watching his mother put out a three-branched candlestick on the dining room table, and saying to her, "Mel Lazarus's family has us beat--they have a candlestick with SEVEN candles!" (Capital letters Bill Keane's (the cartoonist)>) Should I be pleased that Keane is trying to show the diversity of American life, or upset that he doesn't even bother to check how many candles are in a Hanukah menorah? What do other people think about this? Evelyn C. Leeper ==> Note new net address: ...ihnp4!ahuta!ecl (Mail sent to my old address will be forwarded temporarily.)
