My understanding is that Sephardic Jews in Israel are among the most virulent anti-Palestinians precisely because they have lived in Muslim states and have experienced first-hand the bigotry of the Arab rulers. Further, I've been led to believe the Israeli Sephardim constitute a significant base of support for Rabbi Kahane in his efforts to oust all Arabs from Israel. Could someone clarify the situation, please? -- Ken Wolman Bell Communications Research @ Livingston, NJ lcuxc!kenw (201) 740-4565 ("My doctorate's in Literature, but that feels like a pretty good pulse to me. . . .")
