[net.religion.jewish] Going to a hotel for Pesach - a good idea?

dave@lsuc.UUCP (David Sherman) (02/07/85)

We've been considering taking a vacation sometime in the next
couple of months, and the thought of going away for Pesach is
intriguing. (We don't have the sort of ties to relatives which
would make going away impossible.) This week's Canadian Jewish News
is full of ads for Pesach at kosher hotels all over the place -
Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, etc.

Has anyone out there tried going to a hotel for Pesach? Any
comments on what it's like spending Pesach in such an
environment? Any particular recommendations? (We're toying
with Hawaii and Miami Beach.) Also, our baby will be a year old
then. She travels well, but what should we be concerned about?

(There is no truth to the rumour that the only reason we
want to get away is so we can sell the house instead of
cleaning it :-)
