No attempt to squelch any "discussion from an halachic perspective," just an attempt to subject the conclusions which certain people claim to be required by halacha to open discussion. There's a big world out there, son! By the way, as the great talmudic scholar R. W. Emerson once put it, "Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."
