At the end of Parshat Mishpatim (Exodus 24), Moses begins the fourty days and fourty nights together with G-d on Mt. Sinai. In Parshat Ki Tisa (Ex. 32) the fourty days and fourty nights end. What topics do the Torah explicitly describe as having been discussed during this 40 day encounter? - the collecting of donations to build the temple - the ark specifications - the table specifications - the lighting specifications . . . - the insence specifications - the designation of a supervisor - the working hours specifications. I tell you, even in those days it wasn't easy to contract someone to build your house in Israel.
