DAEMON@TECHUNIX.BITNET (03/11/85)
From: DAEMON@TECHUNIX.BITNET ******************** Do NOT Reply By Rnmail, Please ******************** BS"D Contrary to popular belief, I am *not* the Devil (DAEMON@TECHUNIX.BITNET) :-). Therefore, I would request that anyone responding to my previous article on a Weekly Dvar Torah by 'r' (i.e. rnmail) would send the real me (0210097@TECHUNIX.BITNET) the letter that they sent to the Technion's "daemon". My System Administrator has agreed to look through daemon's mbox and send me anything that's there for me, but since the CC understandibly has higher priority things to do, it may take a while so it would be much easier if you would all resend your messages to me. This problem (DAEMON@TECHUNIX in the 'From:' line) will remain as is for the forseeable future; therefore, as a rule, do not reply to my articles or letters with the 'r' command either in 'rn' or in 'mail'. Another thing, due to the problems I've been having with mailing, I am not sure that I succeeded in reaching all those who have written me so if you wrote me and didn't get a response please write again and I'll try to get a letter back to you (if your address is UUCP, please include the path to 'ucbvax' in Berkeley at the end of your letter). I'm sorry for all the inconvenience I'm causing all of my correspondents, but, in the present situation (as opposed to the situa- tion that existed when I submitted my original two test articles), it is very difficult for me to get mail out at all and, even then, the headers are not correct. Thank you all for being understanding. Shalom V'L'Hitraot, Ephraim Silverberg BITNET : 0210097@techunix ARPANET : 0210097%techunix.bitnet@wiscvm.arpa UUCP : 0210097%techunix.BITNET@psuvax1.UUCP
