Seems someone thinks there is great promise in the concept of video marketing and purchasing. Mr. Atari(I don't know his real name) started a new company after selling Atari. The company produces these video salesmen. And someday they hope to have them in supermarkets, and all over the place. This info comes from a guy who works for this company. I figure if Mr. Atari thinks it has potential, we'll be seeing a lot of this thing--at least for 5 years until everyone gets bored with them. I personally think it's a great idea. I hope these things NEVER work out! Now we can still put pressure on supermarkets to let us do some of the choosing. Are your video shoppers going to lift and smell melons to get a ripe one? Choose produce that is still crisp? Get the meat away from the red-tainted lamps to make sure it is not an antique? Down with inhuman uses of computers! js
