SUMMER IN ISRAEL
Scholarship Program 1986

The program includes:
ROUND-TRIP FLIGHT, TUITION, ROOM, BOARD, AND TOURS
Cost to the participant ranges from
$400 - $1,400
Tours will involve a nominal additional expense.
WHO MAY APPLY:
Jewish men and women, 18-29 years old. No previous background in Judaic
Studies is required. The program is designed for the inquiring student who
is looking to use this summer for a thorough exploration of his/her Jewish
heritage and values.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS:
Applications will be reviewed and accepted as they are submitted. No
applications will be accepted after MAY 15, 1986. Early applicants will be
given preference in the allotment of scholarships.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
The full cost of the program is $1,400. Scholarship awards are designed for students who have not had previous learning opportunities and will be based
on the financial need of the applicants.
