As many of us are aware, a great deal of progress has been made
during the last few years as far as it concerns the Computer Sci-
ence Education in Greece. Among the things accomplished is the
creation of the Computer Science Dept. at the University of Crete
and the Cretan Institute of Computer Science.
Early this year, elections were held in order to fill positions
of Computer Science Professors at the Computer Science Dept. of
the University of Crete.
