Ray Benash-- I would like to get into tempeh, but I hear I need to use a special bacteria to do so. I have asked the biggest health food store in town, and they don't stock starter kits. Do you know of any sources for these (that woulld serve the Canadian market, as well)?

The best mail order source of tempeh starter is: The Farm 156 Drakes Lane Summertown, Tennessee 38483 They can also send simple instructions about how to make tempeh, you'll need a simple incubator. They recoomend a styrofoam cooler with a light bulb. Enjoy, Ken Bronstein hp-pcd!ken
