Thanks to everyone who posted recipes and suggestions in response
to my request.  In return, I offer this recipe from the Silver Palate
Cookbook, a book which has given me a great deal of pleasure:

	Blueberry Vinaigrette

	1/3 cup olive oil
	1/2 cup blueberry vinegar with blueberries
	3/4 teaspoon salt
	3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
	1 inch cinnamon stick
	1/4 cup blueberries, fresh or unsweetened frozen, thawed

	Combine all ingredients in a jar.  Shake well.  Make at least
	1 hour before using.  Shake again before serving.

We had this last night over asparagus spears that had been steamed for ten
minutes and allowed to cool; very nice.
