_Vegetarian_Times_ Subscription Info____________________________________________
I made mention of _Vegetarian_Times_ in a previous article and was
quickly swamped with requests for subscription information! Due to popular
demand, then, I'm posting subscription information here.
I'm rather surprised that so many of you don't know where to get the
magazine. I figured that if I could find it in reactionary "Live Free or Die"
New Hampshire, one could find it anywhere . . .
For those who know nothing about _VT_, it's a monthly magazine for
vegetarians. No particular brand of vegetarian; in fact, it caters to a variety
of vegitarians: lacto-ovo, vegan, and macrobiotic. In addition, there are
animal rights articles, lots and lots of useful and entertaining news briefs,
thoughtful essays, recipes, nutrition information, and a cover story about a
famous vegetarian personality. Interesting ads, too.
Subscription rates:
1 year (12 issues) $19.95 (US) $25.00 (Foreign)
2 years (24 issues) $36.00 (US) $46.00 (Foreign)
3 years (36 issues) $49.95 (US) $65.00 (Foreign)
Last I looked, you get a free 100% cotton T-shirt when you subscribe for three
years. They come in sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL. I should note that they still
haven't sent me mine (after several months).
You can pay by check or with Mastercard or VISA. They'll bill you, but
there's not much sense in going that route: they didn't send me any magazines
until I paid the bill! I guess they have a small budget.
