[I am epicurious veggie] I saw a footnote in one of Anne Thomas' "Vegetarian Epicure" cookbooks on a recipe that used Worcestershire sauce. In that footnote she indicated that while most W. sauces are made with anchovies (you know, those flat things with eyes), an Irish brand called "Alanna" was veggie. But alas, I've never seen the stuff. But real veggies squirt shoyu on everything, right? Porter and brazil nuts? Nax-Paul !cornell!nax
