This is an update to the site description for west44. Name: west44 Organisation: Dept. of Computer Science, Westfield College, London. Mail: westf westcsr ukc ic-cs ucl-cs News: westf westcsr ukc ic-cs is the Dept. of Computer Science at Imperial College, London (a site announcement from them will be forth coming). The new ukc link means that mail aimed at west44 from the outside world can now be addressed ....!ukc!west44!username and out from west44 ukc!vax135!.... and out from westf west44!ukc!.... This bypasses the old root44 links. Which although VERY generously paid for by Root Computers (which is, after all, a very nice thing to do) were modem connections both west44-root44 and root44-ukc whereas the new link transfer directly over the London Gateway. The root44 link will be still maintained.
