I seem to be having some trouble getting this mailed to some people so I am posting it here. If you didn't respond to my original request but would like to anwser the questions anyway please feel free to do so. Well here is the list of questions on lasers that my brother would like you to answer. The list is a little longer than I had expected because I did not separate the questions into the various disciplines. Feel free to only answer the ones that you know something about. Please include your name, and credentials with your responses. The project is due next Monday so a timely response is needed. Thanks again for your help! I was pleasantly suprized at the number of people out in netland who were willing to take the time to respond. And now for the questions...... 1. Are lasers difficult to learn how to opperate? How much experience does one nned before handling one? How does one learn how to opperate them? 2. How far can a laser beam travel before it disappears completely? 3. If a laser can cause a blind spot on the eye, how can a laser be used in eye surgery to attach retinas? 4. Are all lasers dangerous? What is done to make them safe to work with? 5. How has the laser helped communications? 6. How much do lasers cost? Which one is the most expensive and what is it used for? 7. What makes the laser a good measuring tool? 8.
