(A considerably more mundane topic here!)
Although Arm and Hammer is among the cheapest laundry detergents around, it
has one major flaw. To use it in a cold water wash, you must wait for the
washer to fill and start agitating, and then sprinkle the stuff in. Otherwise,
you get little detergent lumps throughout your clothes. Now, how many
of you have the time to stand around waiting for the washer to fill?
