Hi. A friend of mine who is no longer on the net asked me to post this for him. Please respond by mail, since I don't read this news group. He recieved an advertising/market-test blurb for OMEGA Z-7000 speakers, indicated as $1000/pair speakers, but they'll sell them for $600, AND give him a $250 rebate for answering a questionnaire that will come w/the speakers. So he is paying $350 for (what they say are) $1000 speakers. This is from "World Marketing Association", a division of S&H Marketing Group, Inc. 707 N. MacArthur, Irving, Texas 75061, (214) 253-3667. 1) Anybody heard of these people? Are they reliable? Honest? 2) Anybody heard anything about OMEGA speakers? Are they worth $1000? Are they even worth the net $350 he'd have to pay? Note, he has to reply by April 22, so please reply quickly, but briefly. I will give him your responses. Thanks in advance, Arnold (give me a walkman :-) Robbins -- Arnold Robbins CSNET: arnold@gatech ARPA: arnold.gatech@CSNet-relay UUCP: ...!{akgua,allegra,rlgvax,sb1,ut-sally}!gatech!arnold "Look Bruce! I just received my second solicitaion for the Omega Z7000 speakers. This one came with a photo of a voluptuous bikini clad blond standing next to the speakers. These speakers supposedly sell for $1000 but as a "Promotion" a firm is selling them at $600, and in addition is giving a rebate check worth $250 dollars towards their purchase. I have now received two such checks. When I receive a third one I will send in the three checks, get the speakers for free, and also $150 change. Sounds like a good deal.
