[net.consumers] Want Info on Big Screen TV

	I have heard ugly rumors about big screen televisions.  A local
	television repair man last night recited quite a few incidents
	of their unreliability.  If you have any first or second hand
	experience, especially about rear projection, I'd like to hear 
	about your experiences, good or bad.

I have had a Sony KP-5020 (50" model) for about 2 years now. I got it on
sale for $1300. I have never had any problems with it. You have to be a
little careful about cleaning the screen though, it scratches rather easily.
You also need to have a large room to put it in, 'cause it is one of the two
piece units and takes at least 6 ft. between the coffee table-like projector
and the screen. I'm still waiting for the digital TV's.....
