> > What is AT&T's "Opportunity Calling" program? If you make over $15 of AT&T calls in a month, you get "Opportunity Calling" credits equal to the TOTAL price of the calls (not just the excess over $15). These credits can be used, generally dollar-for-dollar, toward the purchase of certain products. The good news is that you get a reduction over the best price you can find, not over list price; you can either order a coupon from AT&T in advance or send in the receipt for a rebate. The bad news is that you can only save a certain amount on a given product (e.g., you can't get something free). I believe they automatically signed up and registered people who average at least $11 of AT&T calls a month, and maybe not even all of those people. As previous netters have stated, you can also sign up by calling AT&T Communications. (By the way, AT&T handles virtually all interstate, and some intrastate, calls for its subscribers.) --Bruce Burger AT&T-Information Systems Freehold, NJ {...ihnp4!}hogpc!btb
