[net.consumers] Wanted: Info on dumps and toxic areas in NJ

ribl@hou4b.UUCP (R Blechman) (02/20/85)

Does anyone know or know where I can find out where dump sites or
toxic areas from industry (both active and inactive) are?
I am looking to buy a house and would like to avoid such areas.

Go back about 6 months through the 1984 National Geographic magazines, they had
a full story on New Jersey. I believe they showed the Toxic waste sites and
scientist predictions on how long it would be until all conventional wells were
polluted. The stuff was creeping towards Atlantic City. You are very smart to
be concerned, I wish more people were.
