Recently while I was considering leasing a car I discovered a report on auto leasing that two engineers from work wrote. The report includes in-depth information on auto leases and a detailed spreadsheet analysis of the costs of leasing and financing. Although the report is only five pages it is well worth $3.00. When I asked one of the authors, he said over 80 hours was invested in research and analysis.
