[net.consumers] Hand cleaner / spot remover

A household hint:
"Goop" is a hand-cleaner that I highly recommend. Unlike "Lava" and
similar products, it does not scrape the dirt off (along with skin).
It is particularly useful after working on your car. It also works
as a spot remover. I find it at my local grocery store. (I have no
relationship with whatever company makes "Goop".)

It works by melting off the grease. It's the only way to get your
fingernails cleaning after changing the oil and things like that. Cheap, too.
(A similar substance is called "Go-jo")

Another EXCELLENT grease remover/hand cleaner is Vibraclean (Hanlon Chemical
Co, Kansas City.) It has a skin softener in it, so your hands don't dry up and
wither away (as gasoline makes them do.) I found some at an industrial supply
house in Denver, one can find a local distributer by calling the manufacturer.
It was well worth the effort to find. It is also effective in removing paint
from your hands (much better than turpentine), and removing stains from clothes.
I also have no relationship with Vibraclean, although I do let it caress my
hands on a regular basis.
