Absolutely! But I would add the following caveat: have a COMPETENT
lawyer represent you. I have met up with real turkeys in my real-
estate experiences. Some lawyers knew less about the real estate laws
than I did. (They would mention something that I knew to be false, and
when I would call their attention to it they would say something like,
"Gee, I dunno. I always thought it was so..." They would look it up,
and find they were wrong. And they charged me for this!)

A good way to find a competent lawyer is to ask your banker to recommend
one. I knew a retired banker, and the lawyer he recommended was a really
sharp guy. This lawyer, of course, did a lot of work for the bank. But
banks don't hire turkeys to be their lawyers. (They hire turkeys to be
their clerks.)
