It is silly of us to promise our 5 1/2 years old son a video game for X'mas. Now, we are shopping for one. Particularly, we are looking into Atari and Comordore(?) 64/128. As greedy as everyone else, we like to play games and also to run some educational programs that will benefit the little fellow. What a sigh, getting a game machines is a way to relieve us from being bugged to play some sort of game every now and then. We are interested in having a PC at home after a few years when the kid grows up so we can justify that better. For now, what is good and bad about various choices? The cost of a working home computer isn't cheap and the incremental software is a factor as well. Your experiences on this regard and particular in this similar context is specially useful. T.
