something about the introduction of "smudge-free ink" in some news-papers

I caught only part of it and my quick notes are cryptic - but then I was
dripping wet ... something about the ink attaching to the fiber of the paper,
and a company name, which sounded like "Roger Gamblin"

anyone know more? I've been waiting so very long for this ....

Only a little more, from the same source:

The process uses dye rather than ink, and so impregnates the paper
fiber rather than just sitting on top of it. It's being test
marketed, I don't remember where or what papers, being used for
outside section sheets only (page 1-2 and attached backpages, etc.)

I hope this little tidbit can quell your excitement some.
