[net.consumers] zipcode survey by cashiers in store

A Toys R Us cashier in Manchester New Hampshire, recently asked me 
for my zipcode.

I inquired about why she was asking and her response was that the
the chain was conducting a survey (about where its customers lived)
to help to determine where they should start new stores.
