Safeway has a new policy.  If a customer notices the price charged using
the UPC system is higher than the price on the shelf, the item is free.
Maximum of one item per purchase.

Eh?  Their competitors here has no such limit.  I hope they burn over that
one, but I suspect most people will never notice.  Anyhow, intelligent
store managers have always been able to bend company rules in favor of
a soon to become disgruntled customer.
