[net.consumers] Recommendations for small coffee makers wanted

davidl@teklds.UUCP (David Levine) (01/31/86)

I'm looking for a small coffee machine to sit on my desk at work. I drink at
most one or two cups a day, so it has to be something that can produce small
quantities with consistent high quality. It should take up little space on my
desk, and good looks would be a plus. A timer would be an unnecessary luxury.

I'm fairly new to the world of Yuppie drip coffee makers, so a pointer to a
good source of information on this sort of thing would be as welcome as a
specific recommendation. For example, I'm not sure whether grinding the beans
just before perking is worth the expense and/or trouble (I don't even know how
much expense and/or trouble it is!).

I don't read net.consumers, so please respond by mail. Thanks!
