I'm in the market for a new car. Because I work for AT&T I can buy AMC products for wholesale + 4%. I'd like to hear what kind of experience anyone has had with AMC Alliances, especially as regards reliability of operation. I read recently that AMC Alliances are assembled in Kenosha, WI., in the country's oldest car assembly plant. This makes me wonder if there is very little automation in the assembly process. I've also read that there's been a good deal of labor strife at the plant, which also gives me concern about quality control. I'd appreciate hearing of anyone's experiences with Alliances.
