[net.consumers] My credit history is a

I got a copy of my wife and my credit histories by sending a request letter
and $15 to a local credit bureau.

The credit history was enlightening. We discovered the following:

1) There wasn't any record of our first home or our current mortgage.
2) None of my wife's 15 years of work experience has on record. Her only job
listing is actually my current job. The history made it look like I worked
in Rochester NY and she works in Lowell MA.
3) We had two inactive credit cards listed. We hadn't used them in over 5
years but they were still listed as part of our credit line.

We play to correct some of these inaccuracies. I recommend that all of you
obtain a copy of your credit history. It is important to know what others see
of you.
