Its the model 1169...its still being sold as of Saturday 3/1/86
for $59.99...I'll bet you have the same problem as I do...Sears said NO ONE
else had complained of problems......I am currently pursuing this 
peacefully with them...they have until Friday to find out something and 
then I'll start my bellowing/Credit Card tearing up act...I have implicitly
offered them three alternatives (their choice)..

1.  Get me parts (which I'll pay for)
2.  Give me back my money
3.  Replace it free

My position is that things which fail at warranty + 15% = planned obsolescence
and this is a design defect!  Sears could use more people complaining about
products which are trash...we would all be better off.
