I'm trying to figure out what is meant by this comment. Are you saying Sanyo is bad, Toshiba is bad, or both compared to Hitachi? If you are knocking Toshiba, then I have to disagree. I have a 19" Toshiba color television that I bought back in 1978. People still remark on the good quality of the picture, and I have never had a problem with it. My only experience with Hitachi, however, was not nearly so good. I bought a cassette deck which was supposed to be a good one, but I thought the sound was terrible and quickly replaced it. I also have a Toshiba receiver and the only problem I've encountered is that both times my house was zapped by lightning (yes, twice and at 2 different locations!), the receiver had many parts blown. I can hardly blame Toshiba for that. -- Sue McKinnell ...!ihnp4!ihopb!suem IH 6N226 x5313
