I'm in the design stages of a calendar management program right now. If you have used some sort of computer appointment calendar, please write to me and let me know your impressions. I am particularly interested in issues like: - what it did that you liked - what it did not do but you wished it did - what you liked about the user interface (and the converse) Did the system allow you to schedule periodic events (e. g., the first Tuesday after the second Thursday of every month)? Did you find the system too cumbersome to bother with? If you have never used such a program, please let me know how you feel about the following: - What features would the system need to have to get you to use it in place of your current paper calendar? - How much would you be willing to pay for it? By way of explaination, the system I am designing will be available on a number of systems, including but not limited to, Unix, VMS, CP/M and MS-DOS. The initial version will be in C. I will probably try to produce a scaled down version in BASIC. One of the primary goals is to allow the user to have the same calendar available both on his work and his home systems.
