[net.bio] A. G. Cairns Smith's Theory of the Origin of Life

_
Has anyone here read A. G. Cairns Smith's book Genetic Takeover and
the Mineral Origins of Life and/or the related Scientific American article of
a little more than a year ago which summarizes the main ideas of the book?

If people show sufficient interest I will post a summary to this
newsgroup. It is a very interesting theory which gets around many of the
problems of the organic soup theory of the origin of life.
