<--> From what I can tell, people are still having a wait-and-see attitude about the 2000. They want experienced people to have a look and see just how good it is. Once they start getting around in the backwoods, and if they are really as good as Tandy says they are, then they should do fine. What Tandy could really use is having a college use them in an integrated network. That would provide an ideal testing site for new stuff (network, UNIX, etc) as well as give them a major selling point.
