On 1/18, Tandy announced the availibility, within 30 days, of the Model 100 Disk/Video Monitor Interface. It will include a SSDD 5-1/4 disk with 184K capacity. It will also support 25 line video with 40 chars on a TV and 40 or 80 chars on a monitor. The unit connects to the 40 pin expansion connector on the bottom of the 100 and comes with a zero-force insertion socket. Many new BASIC commands are added to support the disk and video. A second disk drive can be added. A minimum of 16K of RAM is needed to support the unit. Radio Shack dealers won't know anything about the new unit until they receive official notification within a few days. Michael Connick
