[net.micro.trs-80] trs terminal

I have a TRS model I with an LNW expansion board and would like to use it
as a terminal.I have tried the LNW terminal program but there are problems
when I try to work into an EMACS editor in a DEC 20.  Can anybody suggest
a good terminal emulator program?  The problem occurs with control characters
and handshaking.
