- I have recently had a couple of weeks to play around with my Mod 4, and am now unsure which DOS I should stay with. Does anyone have any other info which might prove helpful in my decision??? DOSPLUS 4.0 fast. things work a little quicker supports piping, multiple commands per line, command repitition, libraries for hard disk supports wild cards has helpful support people at Micro-Systems variable command switches, more easily understood and abbreviated full device independence can only spool to memory, not to disk file TRSDOS 6.??.?? typeahead support of Radio Shack slow, takes ages to do things cumbersome, commands have to be input using one archaic way can spool to file Does DOSPLUS have a future? Can the problems I outlined be overcome? Or is it best to stick with the crowd? Nicholas Horton genrad!wjh12!harvard!nike Harvard Arts and Sciences Computer Services
