<----------------------> I had the chance to play with LC (elsie) from Logical Systems, but havn't bought it yet. The following were/are my obsevations from about 1 week of playing:- (I am a very very novice C programmer!) I don't know C well enough to tell about the completeness, however memory allocation is supported, structures are not!, only 1 dimension for arrays. The documentation while otherwise very good DIDN'T clearly state the limitations/unsupported features. The compiler produces assembler code (macros, macros and more macros) for an assembler that should be bought with it (unless you already have the same one), wont work with any other I believe. Compilation & assembly is typical of a MOD-I, not very very slow but go take a coffee break, the assembler is DISK INTENSIVE for the macros. The executable code is a /CMD file, support I/O redirection, my little diddeling looked tight and executed FAST. Cost with assembler is $150, discounts available, Requires 48K & 2 disk, From Logical Systems or Misosys. Works on MOD-I or III, I may yet buy it. I have PASCAL-80, I like it though its executable code is slow, because of the p-code interpreter(I think). NOTE:- Unlike some BASIC compilers, PASCAL-80, LC doesn't require RUN TIME MODULES....
