[ Hi mom! ] Does anyone in netland have a rough idea of how much I should ask for a used (~4 year old) Model I, with 48K RAM, RS-232, one-disk (double density modification in place) and lower-case. (All RS standard equipment). Everything's still working fine, but I'm thinking of upgrading to a 16-bit micro (still undecided on the brand). Thanks. Al Figura ...!pyuxa!ajf

To get the most money out of
your old Model I you should sell the
accessories (sp?) seperate. ESPECIALLY
the disk drives.
I saw in our Trading Times
paper that some one was selling a
Model I 48k 4 disk drives for $500-$600.
The disk drives would get at least
that much if sold by themselves!
You will probably end up in
the end with the keyboard and the
monitor.

When I bought my TRS-80 MOD1, I got it for $1000+. I have a MOD I, 48K, one disk drive and a printer (not very good printer, I might add), and it was used, but in good condition. Therefore, I would probably ask $900- $1000, negotable(sp). --johnc [astrovax, decvax, linus, cornell] ! dartvax ! johnc or johnc@dartmouth
