We all know program piracy goes on but recently it has hit home to me and is too close for comfort. I have written several programs for the TRS-80/Max-80 and one of these called Hypercross has proved fairly successful. In the last week I have had several calls telling me that copies of my programs are on some of the Public bulletin boards, free for the downloading. If anyone can confirm this and help me to remove them I would be eternally grateful. The program would be in two parts, the a /CMD file which might be called HX1/CMD or HX3/CMD or HX4/CMD or HYCROS or something similar and a data file called FORM/DAT or HPRX/DAT. The program is for transferring files between floppy disks from the TRS-80, MS-DOS and CP/M machines and I have put a year of my spare time in to it so it is not nice to see others giving away my work for free. It is copyrighted and carries notices to that effect. Thanks for reading this, Mike Gingell, ...decvax!mcnc!ecsvax!mjg phone: (919) 847 4779
