Reminds me of a passage from Conrad's "Typhoon" to the effect that
Capt. McWhirr (sp?) had discovered, under the stress of the storm,
the  *perfidy*  of men.  Ah, the perfidy of those holes, when you
tear them off, for they are perfidious as well as perforious.
At any rate the adjective gives us a new rhyme for glorious.

We used to call them TF's for Tractor Feeds.  Of course, you
had to be careful where you said that... :-)
