About three weeks ago, I stated in this newsgroup that the Tandy 1000 tech manual was available as a special order item. I wish to apologise to all those who rushed down to their local Radio Shack and were told otherwise. It now appears that the manual is only out in small numbers and not for general consumption. The computer center I went to was mistaken and is supposed to credit my charge card this weekend. At this point, there is still no date for when it will be available. (No, I don't know how they got the copy I saw.) Snce Tandy is on the net, could one of them answer me one question: WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG?????!!!!! It was on the last catalog as well as the current one and neither catalog listed a date for availability. (Isn't that supposed to mean that the book will be available at press time of the catalog?) I had no problem getting a programmer's manual and can get all the MS-DOS and BASIC manuals I can carry. Why is the tech manual so different?
