I called this morning an RS retailer, (in Century Blvd,
near LAX), and he told me that the technical manual is
available on special order. $49.99999999999999999 (+tax)

He's got one. He's not got one: I got it!

$49.9999999999999999 ??????????!!!!!! The catalog lists it at $29.95.

Well, I finally got one myself. (Hurrah!)

After being told by all the local stores that it was still unavailable, I
called:
		Montezuma Micro
		P.O. Box 2169
Camp Verde (Lizard Flats), AZ 86322

		800-527-0347

Oddly enough, they had it in stock- they claim to have been carrying it for
*THREE MONTHS*. Cost: $25.00 + $4.00 UPS.

It is a very thick manual (same sort of binder as the MS-DOS and BASIC
manuals). A full half of it is devoted to schematics and reprints of
Intel and TI chip literature (and everything you ever wanted to know about
the TEAC 54B disk drive :-).

Now if someone would just tell my local Computer Center...
