I tried responding directly to the requestor, but that path wouldn't work for me. This is probably of general interest, anyway. --- The TERM program (and perhaps the underlying screen driver) is essentially an 8 line by 40 column VT52 emulator. Jeff Lomicka and I discovered the following additional control sequences by exhaustive testing. This is the document that I wrote up at that time. I have since seen some of these documented somewhere, I think, but I don't remember where it was. ------------ Non-VT52 control sequences. ^L Clear ^K Home $E Home&Clear $L Insert line $M Del line, scroll up $Q cursor off $P Cursor on $j Home&Clear $l Clear line $p Reverse video $q Normal video DEC printer port cable data: (I let my M100 type files into Emacs for me!) Printer ports accept input, and it appears as if it was keyed by the user. File transfer *to* the M100 requires sending the printer-port-on escape sequence.
